To participate in the Register Insider program, you must have a qualifying subscription* to The Orange County Register.  To sign up, visit www.registerinsider.com and enter your subscription account number.  Limit one user account per person.  Once you become a member, you have access to Register Insider offers including Deals, Events, Extras and Contests.

Subscribers that have continued their paid subscription for a year or more become Register Insider Loyalty members and have additional access to special deals and other premium rewards.

To remain a Register Insider member, you have Internet access and continue your Orange County Register subscription.

At sign up, all members will receive 2,000 points to be redeemed for items in the Register Insider Extras Store.  Points may be used instead of cash.  Points are assigned to each item for purchase.  Redemptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis.
Extra points can be earned by locating Insider Words that are found:

- At events
- In Orange County Register ads
- Online e-mails or newsletters

In addition, points can be earned by:

- Convert to EZPay on Insider through Member Profile to earn points

- Becoming a loyalty member

Once you have located an Insider Word, enter it on the Register Insider home page in the space provided.  You will receive a one-time credit for each word.  Point history is available on your user profile page.

Contests

1. There is no purchase necessary for all contests.
2. Only one (1) winner per household allowed, every 30 days, among all Orange County Register contests. All contest entry forms will be located on www.registerinsider.com throughout the duration of the program. The contest requires the consumer to fill out the contest entry form in order to qualify for the contest. Participants can also enter by filling out a 3x5 card and include name, address, city, zip, phone number and email address Mail it to The Orange County Register C/O Register Insider Contest, P.O. Box 11941 Santa Ana, CA 92711-1941. From all entries, winners will be randomly selected.
3. The winner will be notified by The Orange County Register via phone or e-mail. The selected winner will have 48 hours to respond to the phone call or email otherwise they will forfeit their prize.
4. Winner must be 18 years of age or older at the time of selection. Winner must be a California resident. Unclaimed prizes shall remain the property of The Orange County Register and may not be sold, exchanged or otherwise transferred by the winner. Anyone may participate except employees of The Orange County Register, its affiliates, retailers, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, sponsors, dealers, and the immediate families of each. The Orange County Register, its affiliates, retailers, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, sponsors, dealers, shall not be responsible for any damages, compensatory, direct, incidental, consequential or otherwise, with respect to, or in any way arising from this contest.
5. Odds of winning all contests depend on the number of entries received by the drawing deadline.
6. All unclaimed prizes shall remain the property of The Orange County Register and may not be sold, exchanged or otherwise transferred by the members.
7. By accepting prizes, members agree to a release The Orange County Register from any and all liability resulting from participation Register Insider contests and/or acceptance or use of any prize.

Events

Events are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  If you RVSP for an event, plan to show up.  Continual no-shows may result in ineligibility from attending future events.  If you RSVP and can not attend due to extenuating circumstances, please contact the Register Insider club manager at:  clubmanager@ocregister.com. The Orange County Register is not responsible for show cancellations, talent no-shows or other damages arising there from.

Prize Awards

For each offer, deal or contest, the Register Insider Club manager will specify how prizes can be redeemed.  This includes:

- Winner to pick prize up at The Orange County Register business offer located at 625 North Grand Avenue, Santa Ana, CA 92701, or
- Prize may be mailed to the winner.  The Orange County Register is not responsible for non-delivery or any mishandling of the U.S. Mail or any other delivery service.
- Some offers are available through downloading on www.registerinsider.com.

Conditions

Members are solely responsible for any and all associated taxes. If necessary, the member should expect to receive a tax form 1099 for the value of the prize. Unless otherwise specified herein, any non-cash prize cannot be redeemed for cash or replaced if lost or stolen. The Orange County Register reserves the right to replace and/or substitute a like prize of equal value, should the specified prize not be available.

The Orange County Register reserves the right to amend these rules, or terminate, suspend or modify the program, at its sole discretion. By becoming a member of the Register Insider Club, members agree to be bound by these official rules.

All offers, deals and contests are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Register Insider offers, drawings and contests are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and are void where prohibited.
