Points

At sign up, all members will receive 2,000 points to be redeemed for items in the Register Insider Extras Store. Points may be used instead of cash.

Points are assigned to each item for purchase. Redemptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

Extra points can be earned by locating Insider Words that are found:
• At events
• In Orange County Register ads
• Online e-mails or newsletters

In addition, points can be earned by signing up for the Register's Deal of the Day. Deal of the Day offers steep daily discounts on dining, entertainment, family fun, health & beauty and more throughout Orange County. You will receive a daily email with the Deal of the Day and a Register Insider word. To enter the word, go to registerinsider.com, and earn 1,000 points. Click here to sign up.

Entering the insider word will not enter you into a contest, or redeem the item. It simply adds points to your Insider account! Points are required for Insider Deals. All other items are FREE.. no points needed.

Once you have located an Insider Word, enter it on the Register Insider home page in the space provided. You will receive a one-time credit for each word. Point history is available on your user profile page.
